1916 EASTER RISING LECTURE TOURS OF THE U.S.A. October '06 Lorcan Collins is the founder of the 1916 Rebellion Walking Tour and co-author with Conor Kostick of the Easter Rising. Lorcan's next tour of U.S. universities, schools and historical societies is planned for October 2006. Using a slide projector Lorcan gives lectures on the foundation of the Irish State from the Easter Rising to the War of Independence and Civil War. Details of some of the colleges visited previously, along with letters of recommendation from the people
involved in booking the lectures are available below. If you require details on how to book

TENNESSEE LECTURE Lorcan visited Carson-Newman College in East Tennessee in February 2002. A lecture was held on The Easter Rising and Lorcan also visited some of the classes held on Irish Literature.
